Production log week 3

During this week I help someone film one of their interviews which was Boris Johnson. We went to the Ilford Kenneth moorth theatre where he was having a discussion about London a cleaner place. We got an interview with him but unfortunately forgot to switch on the boom mic which de-activated the sound, but at least managed to receive footage. For the remaining of the week I continued contacting my contributors and was improving on my shooting script, adding more shots to it and writing it in more detail. I also wrote out my questions for my interviews which I will be asking, but am still waiting for my contributor to get back in contact with me. I made a call to someone called Kayle experienced being a pregnant teenagers and am now waiting for a response.

Production log week2

At the beginning of this week I helped Freshi with her filming. She had an interview with Craig the manager who is part of ‘notgoingtouni’. I was in charge of the camera throughout filming the interview. For the rest of the week I was writing up my shooting script as shown below.

In this week I completed my shooting script for my documentary which will be used throughout my whole documentary because everything mentioned in the script is going to be said in the documentary. Due to not having my vox pops filmed I will not be able to write in what has been said so instead I have typed in ‘answers to do you think condoms should be sold to the younger generation to stop teen pregnancy?’. I also was unsure of which shot types to use for certain scenes so in the script I have used a common types, close up or medium close and if it still needs to be changed whilst filming I will do so.

Production Log Week 1

The key aims for this week was to try and get in contact with some professionals who would know a lot more about teenage pregnancy therefore I sent out emails to see if I could get an interview with them so they can tell me about more information on the topic, I also am currently trying to get in contact with someone who has been a teenage mum or is one at the moment which would add realism to my documentary. I managed to send out a few letters this week to a pharmacy’s, teenagers to find out what they think of the current situation with teenage pregnancy, and the family associations.

I have also posted an add on ‘Gumtree' to help me find anyone who is a teenag mother or once was and became pregnant so that they can come forward and would be kind enough for me to record how the situation was for them and how they over came it. I would also like to know what they would do different If they had another chance to change things and should they have been more careful. I have not yet received any responses from anyone I have contacted.
